- Equipment selection and adjustments
- Initial evaluation run
- Group organization on high-volume rivers (Class IV/V)
- High-river safety techniques (Class IV/V) — securing a rappel, dealing with entrapment risks, etc.
- Navigation techniques (maneuvering, handling volume)
- Choosing lines and improving trajectory control
- Boofing techniques and running waterfalls

Level: For kayakers with regular practice able to paddle on Class IV rivers. Eskimo rolling skills are required.
