Learn kayaking… in whitewater during a course in the Southern Alps!
Course program:
- Equipment selection and familiarization
- Basic techniques on flat water
- Reading the river and using currents
- Practice of basic safety techniques
- River runs and discovery sessions
- Full river day with picnic on board
👥 Small group: maximum 6 people per guide
🧰 Equipment provided: kayak, helmet, buoyancy aid, paddle, wetsuit
🌊 Rivers explored: Durance, lower Guil, Guisane…
🌟 You can also get started with our Durance Discovery – a gentle and immersive experience to discover the river in a different way!

Level: Open to all (Class I, II and III) from age 12 and up.
Duration: 3- or 5-day courses (9 a.m. – 5 p.m.) from April to November
Location: Les Vagues à Bonds base, whitewater stadium of L’Argentière-la-Bessée (05120)
